Village Children's Academy offers a number of enrichment programs that can be added to your child's regular curriculum. Unless noted, these programs are available at each of the three VCA school locations.

Imagine Tomorrow...
From the very first Imagine Tomorrow class students take, they receive more than just computer basics. Each experience integrates sophisticated technology concepts such as E-mail and the Internet in an age-appropriate way that even the youngest students understand and enjoy. During class, children become Computer Detectives on a learning adventure to imaginative place such as the E-mail trail or Internet Island. Classes begin with custom interactive video voicemail describing a new, fun-filled mission. Children then move on to their own computers where they work on Imagine Tomorrow software designed specifically for each mission. Advancing at their own pace, children proudly apply new technology skills to solve problems and accomplish their goal. When class ends, children continue to enjoy their mission from home with online software activities that correspond to the current lesson. Tumblebear Gymnastics...
Tumblebear Gymnastics was born in 1988 based on the notion that all children should have the opportunity to experience gymnastics training, especially those who could not attend a separate gymnastics school. What started as "Tumblebear Mobile" quickly turned into a program that provides a gymnastics experience to children in over 100 locations in Northwest Indiana and Illinois. The preschool program is designed for toddlers to 5-year-olds and includes a variety of activities using the balance beam, horizontal bar, vault, air trak, air mat, and tumbling. Coordination, body awareness and self confidence are hallmarks of this professional program. Classes are offered on a weekly basis throughout the entire year. Lil' Angels Photography...
Since 1996, Lil' Angels Photography has been bringing professional studio equipment and techniques into daycare centers for "dress up" photos. Others photo opportunities for your child include traditional school-style, family photos, and graduation photos. Photo sessions are typically held in the fall and spring of each year. Information is distributed prior to each scheduled session including the dates, times and costs of photos.
